  • Attention all Dancers competing in "So You Think You Can Dance?":  There is a mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch on Mon., Feb. 27th, in Room 303.  Be sure to bring your music and money!

  • HSPA Testing: The High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) will take place for all juniors on March 6, 7, and 8, 2012. Make up dates are the following week, March 13, 14, and 15, 2012.  Click on HSPA Schedule to access the testing schedule.

  • Teen Driving Workshop: Warren Hills PTSA will host a workshop on teen driving at the high school on Mon., Mar. 26th, from 7-9 p.m.  The workshop, entitled "Share The Keys," has been developed by Kean University in partnership with the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety and the NJ State Police.  Click here for the flyer.

  • Nominations:  Warren Hills Regional School District is participating in the New Jersey Governor's Teacher Recognition Program/Educational Services Professionals Program 2012.  This program provides us with an opportunity to affirm the good work of our professional staff by selecting and honoring an exemplary educator from each school.  The nominations process is open to all staff, students, and parents of our district.  Nomination forms and ballots can be found in the high school library.  All nominations are due by Mon., Mar. 12, at 3 p.m.

  • Send a Senior a Star!  For only $1, you can write your favorite senior winter athlete a note and it will be delivered by their head coach on Fri., Mar. 2nd, along with a star lollipop.  Fill out your note and bring a dollar to the table outside the cafeteria from Feb. 22nd - Feb. 29th.

  • Softball Players:  Try-outs begin on Fri., Mar. 2nd, immediately after school.  Be sure to have all paperwork and clearance papers in as soon as possible.  Be prepared for indoor and outdoor practice.

  • Warren County Community College Placement Test:  If you are planning to attend WCCC after graduation, you can take their placement test right here at Warren Hills.  A representative from WCCC will administer the test on Thurs., Mar. 22nd, in the high school library promptly at 8 a.m.  See Mrs. Romond in the Guidance Office for details and registration forms.  The deadline to register is Fri., Mar. 16th.

  • Library News:  The Norman Mailer Center & Writers Colony and the National Council of Teachers of English jointly sponsor the 2012 Norman Mailer High School and College Writing and Poetry Awards.  This contest is open to high school and college students and offers $5,000 awards for poetry and fiction.  Stop by the library and see Ms. Devine for contest guidelines and application information.

  • Winter Sports Awards Program:  All winter athletes and their parents are invited to the awards program to be held on Thurs., Mar. 15th, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

  • Poetry & Fiction Contests:  The Warren County Community College (WCCC) is hosting its annual Warren County High School Poetry and Fiction Contests.  Students in grades 9 - 12 may enter in either or both genres.  Submissions are to be postmarked by Sat., Feb. 25th.  Students who are interested in entering should pick up entry forms and guidelines from Ms. Devine in the library.  Prizes include Barnes & Nobel gift cards, publication in the WCCC literary magazine Ars Poetica, and an invitation to read the winning piece at WCCC's Visiting Authors Series/Ars Poetica release event on Thurs., Apr. 26th.
