Warren Hills Regional School District
Technology Department

Student at Computer

Welcome:
The Technology Department at Warren Hills seeks to provide teachers, administrators, support staff, and most importantly students with the technology tools and skills that they need to be successful.  We believe that technology will play an increasingly important role in education in that 1) it is a part of every content area curriculum, 2) it provides for a multitude of new teaching and learning techniques, and 3) it empowers all stakeholders to make better informed decisions than ever before.  Our department provides support for over 1,400 computers districtwide, as well as servers, network hardware, printers, SmartBoards, and assistive technology.

Warren Hills has a history of excellence in the technology area.  For example, we were one of the first districts in the state to implement mobile laptop carts (back in 2000), and our student-to-computer ratio has consistently been better than the state average for both middle school and high school.  Over the last few years, we have added new technologies in just about every area of instruction and school administration.  SmartBoards, new laptop carts, Infinite Campus, and our website are just a few of the recent additions.

We encourage you to to check out our 3-year technology plan for more information about technology in our schools (see the link on the left).
