About the Library Welcome to the Middle School Library's website. We provide a multitude of information resources for our seventh and eighth grade students. Students utilize the library for class research projects, internet applications, and student interests. Our research materials include books, magazines, newspapers, and the internet. Websites for Research Projects Here are links to some useful internet resources. Some are subscription databases, and they require a username and password. They can be accessed in school or at home; ask Mrs. Nelson or Mr. Tucker for the login information if it asks for a username and password. World Book Online - An online version of the classic encylcopedia that contains the full content of the encyclopedia's book version as well as additional multimedia content and links to supplement the articles. A good place to start when researching any topic. Britannica Online - Similar to the World Book site, this site hosts an online interactive version of Encyclopedia Britannica and Compton's Encyclopedia. This is also a good general reference source for your research project. Wilson Online - The electronic version of the Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature, containing a search of magazine and newspaper articles, as well as full text for many articles. EbscoHost - Contains a search for Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers, and in many cases, includes the full text of articles Political Reseach - Includes an encyclopedia of government and politics, and several US History resources Gale Contemporary Authors - Use this for getting biographical information about authors, as well as information about their literary works New Jersey State Library - Contains information on various subjects Library of Congress - Website for the national library in Washington D.C. Washington Boro Public Library - Our local public library in Washington, NJ Warren County Library - The county library system, which includes a branch in Franklin
