Ms. Kerr has been teaching in the Warren Hills Regional School District for 21 years. She teaches 9th grade physical education, 10th grade health which in known as Driver Education, advanced physical education and basic self-defense. Before coming to Warren Hills she was the head field hockey and women's lacrosse coach at Muhlenberg College for 5 years. She earned her Masters of Education with a concentration in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University. Ms. Kerr also completed a second Masters program at Centenary College in Educational Leadership. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Physical Education at Lock Haven University. In 2009, she received her supervisors certificate from the state of New Jersey. She played varsity field hockey and lacrosse at Lock Haven, in her senior year she earned All American status in both sports, played in two field hockey final fours, with 1 National Championship in field hockey. Ms. Kerr is a graduate of Warren Hills Regional High School and played field hockey, basketball and softball. GO BLUE STREAKS!!!Coach Kerr was the head field hockey coach from 2000-2014 and the head girls lacrosse coach from 2010-2015. She has the most all time wins in each sport. Ms. Kerr coached the first ever Female State Championship team in Warren Hills history as the 2014 field hockey team won the Group 3 Championship. She was named the National Field Hockey Coach of the Year in 2015 and has been inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame. In 2013, she was inducted into the New Jersey Coaches Hall of Fame. Her teams have won six Skyland Conference Championships, eight Sectional Titles, four Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex County Tournament and State Runner up six times. She was the Express - Times coach of the year in 2003, 2009, 2011 and 2014 and The West Jersey Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2009. The New Jersey Field Hockey Coach of the Year in 2014. Coach Kerr was named the Skyland Conference Coach of the Year in 2010.
Ms. Kerr enjoys to travel to National Parks, golfing, mountain biking, kayaking, gardening and spending time with her spouse, and two sons, two nephews, niece and dog Gracie. She is also a huge fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
