    Materials Needed for Mrs. Laubach's Accelerated Math 7 Classes:
    • Sharpened Pencils with Erasers
    • Notebook (or section of a binder)
    • Pocket Folder (or section of a binder)
    • WIRED Earbuds/Headphones
    • Consumable Textbook (provided)
    • CHARGED Chromebook (school provided)
     
    Optional Additional Materials...
    • Calculator (an inexpensive scientific calculator will be great, we'll need all 4 operations as well as square & cube roots)
    • Highlighters
    • Graph Paper

    • Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Whole Numbers
    • Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Decimal Numbers
    • Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers
    • Using Order of Operations (PEMDAS)
    • Converting between Fractions, Decimals and Percents
    I would suggest trying out khanacademy, aaamath, mathtv (our topics will be under "Basic Math"), or math.com (try Everyday Math and PreAlgebra).
     
     
     
    Accelerated Mathematics 7 is a course designed to cover the 7th grade Curriculum adopted by the state of New Jersey as well as provide the prerequisite skills and background needed to be successful in an Algebra I course next year.
