    Meet the Teacher

     
    Radio Station Kim Eilenberger

     Mrs. Eilenberger has been teaching in the Warren Hills Regional School District since 2001. She currently teaches 12th grade Health classes, 10th grade Physical Education classes and the elective R.A.D. Systems Basic Self-Defense & Beyond Education course.

    Mrs. Eilenberger earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education degree from East Stroudsburg University (ESU). She also played for the ESU Women's Volleyball Team. Mrs. Eilenberger’s passion for volleyball continued into initiating the first Warren Hills Regional High School Girls’ volleyball team program in September of 2002.

    Furthermore, Mrs. Eilenberger earned a Master of Education degree (M.Ed.) from Gratz College. Her thesis and research of education focused on "Student-Centered Activities and Motivation in the Health Classroom."  

    Mrs. Eilenberger holds a Public Health Certificate, Master of Public Health degree (MPH) from East Stroudsburg University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

    Mrs. Eilenberger’s MPH Research Publishable Paper was titled "Knowledge of Response to a Perceived Threat: Implications for Inclusion of Self-Defense in a Physical Education Curriculum. Through her extensive research and results from her Needs Assessment, Mrs. Eilenberger implemented the international R.A.D. Systems (Rape Aggression Defense) Basic Self-Defense Prevention and Education Awareness program in the School District. “Safety in the Hills” is the R.A.D. elective program for the female students and one of the Worksite Wellness dimensions for the faculty and staff. Currently, Mrs. Eilenberger is still in the planning stages for the R.A.D. for Men (Resisting Aggression Defense) program for the male students, faculty and staff.

    Lastly, Mrs. Eilenberger’s hobbies include spending time with her family, playing indoor, grass or beach volleyball, yoga, cooking and researching health topics to make a positive difference in society.
