• New Jersey Department of Education Portfolio Appeal Process

Students who did not take the PARCC Assessments, or were unable to achieve a passing score on the PARCC Assessments, or unable to achieve a passing score on the alternative standardized exams will need to successfully complete the NJ Department of Education (NJDOE) Portfolio Appeal Process in order to earn a high school diploma.  As the NJDOE makes information available for students, teachers, and parents it will be posted here.

If you and your child have questions about the types of items on the portfolio please reach out to your English Language Arts teacher or Mathematics teacher.  You may also contact the department supervisors [English Language Arts - Mr. Dennison at dennisonk@warrenhills.org; Mathematics - Ms. Hacker at hackerh@warrenhills.org].

Students, parents, or guardians with questions about the administration of the portfolio appeal, or other questions about NJDOE requirements for earning a high school diploma specific to the student, should contact the guidance counselor or case manager.  Questions may also be directed to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Mrs. Dawn Moore, at moored@warrenhills.org or to Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Special Education Ms. Annette Walters at waltersa@warrenhills.org
