    Superintendent’s Update

    Dear Warren Hills Community,

     

    The Superintendent’s Update is a new addition to our district web page. The updates will be posted monthly and will provide our community with information on district initiatives and events occurring within the Warren Hills Regional School District.

     

    Important Information:

    For your planning purposes, please note the adjustment to the 2018-2019 school calendar. School will be in session on the following days due to inclement weather closings as per the Board of Education approved calendar:

    • Friday, June 7, 2019 - 11:55 AM Dismissal
    • Monday, June 10, 2019 - 11:55 AM Dismissal
    • Tuesday, June 11, 2019 - 11:55 AM Dismissal
    • Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - 11:55 AM Dismissal

     

    When inclement weather occurs, school delay and/or closing information will be broadcast through Honeywell, Twitter, Facebook, Remind and posted on the District Webpage. I would encourage you to follow, like and sign up to receive messages from the district.

    Below are important dates and events from our Guidance Department regarding State Assessment Dates, Parent Information Nights and the scheduling process for the 2019-2020 school year. Should you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact the Guidance Departments in the WHRMS or WHRHS.

    JUNIOR COLLEGE PLANNING NIGHT

    6:00 PM

     

    Are you interested in learning about the college application process, including factors that colleges take into consideration? If so, please join us on Thursday March 28th at 6:00 pm in the high school library. The session will provide helpful resources and describe steps you and your child should be taking now and moving forward to be best prepared for this exciting process! 

     

    FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

    Wednesday, April 17, 2019

    High School Cafeteria

    6:00 PM

     

    Financial Aid Night will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the high school cafeteria. A consultant from New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (NJ HESAA) will be present to discuss financial aid including scholarships, grants, and loans.  This session is open to all parents/guardians/students of Warren Hills. 

     

    SCHEDULING FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR

    The Guidance Office has begun scheduling students for the 2019-2020 school year and will be completing the process through April.  The 2019-2020 Warren Hills Regional School District Program of Studies is an excellent resource and guide for reviewing courses, career pathways, and general information. It is accessible on the website at www.warrenhills.org.
