We continued to work our way through a packet of primary sources form MLK and Malcolm X (and some others) that will enable us to discuss nuanced issues related to the Civil Rights Movement.  This packet is preparation for a major essay.  We were able to go over the rest of doc 1.  We also able to go over the first 2 questions on doc 2.  We spent a great deal of time discussing these questions -- they are dense with ideas.  We were able to also read the head note before doc 2 and will pick up on the 3rd question on doc 2 on Friday.  The classwork packet - -  Black Separatism or Beloved Commnity Packet.

HW - complete text 7 in the classwork packet
