    Important Information on District Initiatives:

With a focus on providing additional opportunities for academic growth and student achievement, we are encouraging all students to seek extra help from 2:18 - 2:45 PM. This time will give all students, including our student-athletes and students participating in after school activities, time to meet with teachers and/or receive academic support. All after school activities and athletics will begin after 2:45 PM.

Students participating in activities and/or athletics, not seeking additional help, are to report to the cafeteria until 2:45PM. Students in the cafeteria will be under the direct supervision of faculty. Students are encouraged to complete homework, prepare for assessments or just relax with friends. It is imperative that students not receiving additional instruction from a teacher report to the cafeteria to ensure the safety and security of our students and our facility.

    1:1 Laptop Program

We have had a strong start to our 1:1 program this year.  If your student(s) have not picked up their Chromebook yet, please make sure the required forms are complete in the Genesis Parent Portal to avoid any delay.  In the 1:1 section, please make sure the checkbox is checked in addition to submitting the parent and student electronic signatures.  Paper copies of the 1:1 forms are available in each building’s main office or on our website at https://www.warrenhills.org/1-1.

    Perkins V Grant Survey

The New Jersey Department of Education has requested school districts share with their communities a survey related to the Perkins V Federal Grant. Perkins V is a federal education program that invests in secondary and postsecondary career and technical education (CTE) programs in all 50 states and U.S. territories. It is dedicated to increasing learner access to high-quality CTE programs of study with a focus on program improvement; alignment across K-12, postsecondary and workforce; and economic development. Perkins V is critical to ensuring programs meet the ever-changing needs of learners and employers.
