Hello and welcome to Language Arts Literacy.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year. In Language Arts Literacy, we will be exploring A.C.T.I.V.E. Reading Strategies, 6 + 1 Writing Traits, short stories, novels, picture books, and a variety of writing forms which include descriptive, narrative, persuasive and expository writing. We will work on expanding vocabulary, developing active listening and speaking abilities. We will be using different technology sources along the way. I am hoping that we will have fun as we learn and grow from our time together.
