Dr. Thomas J. Altonjy was appointed Warren Hills Regional’s Superintendent of Schools in May 2011. He began his tenure here on 1 July 2011.
Dr. Altonjy has over thirty years of experience in education. Having begun his career as a high school mathematics teacher, he progressed into leadership roles over the last half of his career, including district curriculum supervisor, middle school assistant principal, elementary principal, and assistant superintendent.
Dr. Altonjy received his bachelors degree from William Paterson University and both his masters and doctoral degrees from the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey.
He and his wife, Louanne, are the proud parents of three children and residents of Frelinghuysen Township.
Dr. Altonjy is honored to be the Warren Hills Regional Superintendent and looks forward to working with the Board of Education, administration, faculty and staff, parents, students, and the community at large.
