I hope you all had a fun and restful summer and that despite some of the limitations we all experienced in terms of being able to travel, that you were able to enjoy a break with your loved ones and friends.

This year promises to be one of learning on many fronts, from the academic content of our classes, to navigating the technology we are using to acquire new knowledge and skills, to learning about our own strength and resilience in the face of challenges we face in and out of the classroom. I am looking forward to the adventure that this year certainly holds for us.

On the Class Information pages, you will find the Google Classroom codes for your class and block. I have sent you an invitation to join your class, but the information is here as a backup. In your Classroom, you will find additional welcome materials, class expectations, procedures and instructions for Google Meet and classroom participation (for hybrid option students, when we return to the school building) and a general overview of how a typical class will run and your daily responsibilities.

While this is my first full year teaching at Warren Hills, I am no stranger to the district. I was a substitute teacher in the district before I had the opportunity to take over a long-term position in the English department last year. I have previously taught English at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology and at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. I have a BA in English from Rutgers University, and prior to becoming a teacher, I had a corporate career in Project Management for a flavor and fragrance company, as well as a position as a research assistant at Educational Testing Service.

I live nearby with my husband, our three children, one dog, two cats, and too many chickens.
