From the Wrestling Coach:

"In case you were unaware last year was the first year girls wrestling was recognized by the state of NJ on and individual level.  Girls wrestling has expanded at a rapid growth in the state and national level.  In an effort to expand on the team front our girls have been pioneers in the wrestling community.  With that said in 8 days on Thursday January 23rd Warren Hills will host the first ever girls’ varsity dual meet in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex area.  We have a tremendous team of young ladies who are passionate and love the sport of wrestling.  We wish to extend an invitation to our community, faculty, staff, friends, and family to come support our wrestlers as they take on the Vernon Vikings.  Our runout and warmup will start at 6:40 PM followed by lineup announcements and wrestling at 7:00 PM.  It would mean a great deal to our wrestlers, coaches, and community to see our gym filled with support.  Thank you so much in advance, and go streaks!"

Congratulations to our girls wrestlers who placed at the Mustang Zoo tournament in Brick in late December.

1st place - Katrina Kling 114 & Nya Walton 180

2nd place - Dalilah Deida 100

3rd place - Jacquleena Galindez 161 & Madison Hall 180
