WH in the News - Microsoft Certifications

 This school year, students earned a total of 243 certifications from the Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, Word Expert and Excel Expert).

Highlights in the first level class:

• Three students were among the top performers in the state of New Jersey and were offered an opportunity to compete in the U.S. National Championship. They were Jessica Pawloski, Ava Mott and Emma Werbin (2^nd place in the state)

Highlights in the second level class:

• All students certified in Word Expert and Excel Expert
• All students received their Microsoft Office Specialist – Expert title with Microsoft

Finally, we ended the year with a 100% pass rate for all students that attempted certifications. Meaning, if any students took the exam and did not receive a passing grade, they had the opportunity to go back again at the end of the school year. ALL students in the Microsoft Program took advantage of this opportunity and were successful in their extended efforts!!
